About Us
Integrated Initiative for Women and Youths (IIWY) is a Non Governmental & Not-for-Profit Organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja on 4th December 2007 with registration number CAC/IT/NO. 26021. The Organization is supporting over 200 women, 200 youths & 150 children in the areas of Education, Health and Empowerment to improve the wellbeing of women and youth in the society. Integrated Initiatives for Women and Youths (IIWY) commenced activities in 2008 with support to the Mbagor Women to organize themselves into a women development group. IIWY supported the Mbagor Women to hold elections and appoint principal officers to lead the group & provided: the Mbagor Women with relevant skills for self-reliance; opportunity to access small grants to set up micro & small businesses; and supported opportunities to improve their knowledge & build self-confidence. IIWY also supported the Poorest of the Poor (ANWIM) Orphanage to plan & carryout organization development activities & this led to increase performance. In 2019, IIWY commenced support to youths on leadership development programmes, digital literacy & peace building programmes. Below is a summary on activities implemented since 2008.
