IIWY implements a variety of educational programmes that will enhance English proficiency, digital literacy, and numeracy skills for women, youths and people affected by conflict to ensure that they have fundamental skills to be productive.

Over the years, IIWY has conducted training on literacy, numeracy, ICT and STEAM education with the belief that, if education systems are strengthened in the rural communities, the formal knowledge and life chances of youths will be increased.

Adult illiteracy is yet another recognized problem, especially in rural communities. In a bid to change the narrative, IIWY began by organizing adult literacy programmes in Mbagor community, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue state for women of the community who were passionate about gaining basic literacy and numeracy knowledge.
